Kate Nash gained a deep understanding of the publishing industry, through her experiences as an author, a publisher, a publicist and a marketer, and set up her own literary agency in 2009. Her reading preferences, from crime fiction to romantic comedy, are highly commercial.

She has won, or been shortlisted, for many awards, including being named the Romantic Novelists’ Association’s Agent of the Year in 2019.
